Hello and thank you kindly for stopping by my profile! I did have a mini novella written here but I think that might have been too “off putting” to some so I’ve moved to a more “short and sweet” Q n A list which I hope is more to everyone’s taste. I speak the truth, I speak from the heart, and I’m not here to deceive… anyone… So, without further ado… here I go: Q: What do I think of women? A: Women are a precious gifts and an ultimate blessing from our creator and are to be treated with love, respect and dignity. Without women the human race dies, period. Any man raising their hand to a woman IS NOT a man but a coward and does not deserve to receive this ultimate blessing. Q: Do I want children? A: I just turned 57 years old and I don’t really wish to create a family. I have a 22-year-old daughter who I cherish and is my world. If you do enter my life and we do hit it off, I can tell you that your children (if you have them) will receive the same love, emotional support, and guidance that I provide to my very own daughter. YES, I know they have a father and I would not do anything to jeopardize their relationship. Q: Why am I divorced? A: My divorce was finalized April 1, 2013 (yeah April Fool’s Day… believe it or not we started divorce proceedings on October 31’s 2012… ah Halloween…!). After 24 years of marriage my ex-wife wished to divorce me and I agreed. Without getting too personal, the divorce was amicable, on the verge of happening anyway, and did not destroy our friendship. Do I miss her, sure who wouldn’t after 24 years of marriage? Do I long for her, NO, we communicate regularly on behalf of my daughter and our continued friendship. My ex is more like an extended family member, like a cousin… NO, not a kissing cousin! Q: What is my position on sexual activity? A: As far as (S. E. X.) goes… I'm straight, meaning I don’t go sniffing the butts on the males of our species and I live by an “Exit Only” policy… thank the maker it’s never been violated… LOL… Phew… I guess it’s worth mentioning I don't like weird sexual practices either… LOL… o.O This topic can and will be discussed much later in OUR blossoming relationship. I am a monogamous creature by nature. I do NOT swing, bed hop, one-night stand, or anything like it… at all. I expect the same in return, NO EXCEPTIONS. Q: What do I do for fun? A: I like to walk around parks and recreational areas to look at natures wonders and photograph them. I like to hike and bicycle ride when my knee is not hurting. I cannot run very well but I could jog if you like it. I’m a former commercial radio DJ and love rock and roll… Pink Floyd, Staind, Puddle of Mudd, Charlie Daniels, Ozzy, Lynyrd Synyrd… etc… oldies (50’s, 60’s, and 70’s), and Big Band/Swing. I also have a fantastic home theater system and watch plenty of Blu-ray, Netflix, and Amazon Prime (on a side note, I dumped cable but kept Road Runner), I like the beach, the ocean and the gulf, Florida, South Shore of Long Island, amusement parks, driving, travel, dinner out, cooking and many other things… Oh yeah… I’m a “Trekkie” too… BUT… I do NOT dress up!
