I'm a nice easy going fun guy, you know, the one girls keep complaining they cant find. I'm financially secure, genuine, educated, dare I say intelligent, amusing and sincere. I live alone in a 4br house and would love some company and maybe some help with renovations... (Can you paint?) I hate this whole dating process and all the time wasters that seem to populate it. In the old days, people were pretty much matched up by their parents, locality or a limit of choices. We might not call that ideal, but their track record of staying together beats our so called "enlightened generations". These dating sites seem to attract or generate people with totally unrealistic expectations. Would you shop for a car and expect to find a brand new, top model Rolls Royce for $1.50 in a used car lot? If you're looking for superman, prince charming or captain kangaroo, its not me. Move to the next slide. I'm not perfect but I know I'm not the worst conclusion. Just an ordinary guy. Middle of the road - all things in moderation type. Sometimes boring, sometimes not. I'm not trying to sell a dream because when the bubble bursts, there's nothing left but hot air. Although there's nothing wrong with Pina Colada's and getting caught in the rain...(thanks Rupert Holmes) My view is to stop stuffing around, pick someone that you like and put your energy into making the thing work. Its a lot less effort than the alternatives like divorce or endless dating. Simple? Well you'd think so... I like 4X4 camping/caravaning , horseriding, watching movies, eating out , theatre, music (guitar, violin & sound production), good conversation and finding new and interesting things to do... (things that dont involve horror movies, listening to Rapp, tieing long rubber bands around my legs or jumping out of perfectly good aeroplanes) But occasionally I do like to pilot the plane - some other idiot can jump out if they want... So drop me a line, what do you risk? Cheers for now, Peter.

Hi :) It is important to know yourself, strengths and weaknesses. I would say my strengths are, I am extremely loyal, a hard worker, I can play just as hard and I can be chill out when I need it. My weaknesses are that I keep aiming for ladies that are perhaps above my mark, and that is why I am still single. I don’t believe in settling for second best, although I do realise now that being in a relationship is about compromise. I do my best to be happy and be kind to others regardless of the situation. I was raised in a big family in Brisbane with good values. I am respectful of others and I believe most people like my attitude and personality. My friends would say that I am usually a quiet character more so around new people although I can be quite goofy at times. I believe being able to communicate and interact with others is important and I constantly strive to improve on. I am up for a good challenge, staying fit and healthy, having fun with as much as possible (not to the detriment of others). I enjoy being with family and friends, seeing the occasional movie or show, gardening and cooking and going away on trips. I lived a reasonably fast paced youth (sports wise), but unfortunately I am slowing down somewhat as I get older. I am quite independent however I am looking for my sweetheart. I am living in Australia and I love my country although I am open to the possibility of relocating overseas. I have only been to Thailand for work only once, back in 2000 and I really liked the local people I met there and there. Some of my friends have married Thai women and they are happy in their relationships. I am open to the possibility of marring a nice Thai girl too. I am not sure how we will know how to kick things along, obviously chatting is the best bet for now. Please ask if you want me to provide references. Lastly, you can take a chance on me.
