Some people may view the glass as half-full while others may look at it as half-empty, I've always wondered why there's no mention of a second glass. Is everyone single nowadays, or are we just drinking alone? I'll assume both since we're on a dating site with the hope of changing our relationship status. So how does a man describe himself (ESTJ) without having to live up to the expectation of being the perfect guy? I'll start by saying, "when it comes to me, its equivalent to a no "haggle" transaction. There are no refunds, trade-ins, or money back guarantees. What you see.....is what you get! Somewhat, similar, to the prize you get in a Cracker Jack box. When describing myself, I could list all of the notable qualities and traits that a woman seeks in a man, but honestly, I'm not sure those guys even exist so I won't pretend to be anyone's "Prince Charming." Especially, since I don't own a white horse, and I'm not a very good liar. What the package includes is a dad with high moral character, financial stability, exceptional manners, and a conservative outlook towards life. I prefer women that are feminine to the core, mild mannered, emotionally grounded, and who can appreciate their own identity and independence. What I desire most from a woman is a friend in support that's openly honest, a partner to share in the challenges of everyday life, and a lover that longs for romance and intimacy. What I tend to avoid are the Harley biker chicks with tattoos, the party girl that's always looking for a good time, or the woman that thrives in her world of drama. I'm not here to waste anyone's time which includes my own. My main objective is to attract a woman that's looking to start afresh; creating enough new memories between ourselves that in our golden years, we reflect upon them with fondness. I never imagined that I'd be looking to start over later in life but that's the hand I've been dealt. With age comes wisdom, and when dealing with the emotion of "love" it can be a very precarious predicament for a dating site. Our experiences as well as our expectations today can be so much more fastidious then in the past that we may unknowingly overlook the obvious out of fear and uncertainty, or just over think the situation. You'll find that I'm a "one-woman" man, and that I'm not into a "juggling" dating scene. I'm also a realist and understand that everyone can have good days and bad days so I don't generally hold grudges or resentments; easygoing comes to mind. When hurt evolves in a relationship, the best remedies are sorrow and forgiveness. I don't harp on the past because the future is the only thing I can change. My religion is an important aspect of my life. I'm not a zealot, nor do I carry a bible in my pocket but I do attend Mass regularly. It took years for me to come to the realization that I require a plausible outlet to maintain my sanity in an insane world, and presently, church has become that haven for me. I'll never impose my religious beliefs on anyone, nor restrict someone from following their own spiritual avenue. As noted, I'm a dad of four children. I have three daughters and a son. My children are grown and out on their own. Even though, I sometimes have the feeling that my kids don't need me as much as they did, I still have fatherly responsibilities and obligations that I'm committed to for life, and more so, the foreseeable future. In life, you may not always be a husband or wife but you'll always be a parent to your children. So now you're saying, "what does he have to offer me?" It all depends on what you're looking for in a man. If you want a loyal and committed partner, someone you can depend on in moments of need then I may be just the guy you're looking for today.
