Hi, I live in a village near Hereford. If you don't know the area, there's some lovely countryside, castles, woods and lots of sheep. I'm a quiet sort I suppose. I like to make people laugh but I'm thoughtful and it takes me a while to get to know someone. I'm pretty well read and have had various careers, science, teaching, health, horticulture. I work in the charity sector now. I am a keen composer and spend a lot of time making music. I love nature, birdsong and walking in the woods or by the sea but I don't have ambitions to travel the world which seems quite popular with some ladies. A glass of vino and some chocolate will do me......I used to be quite a good tennis player. I've just started to learn Russian on Duolingo, not easy but I can order a beer now! I'm very concerned about what we are doing to the world and try to do my bit. I'm a bit old fashioned sometimes and perhaps too honest at times, I suppose I wear my heart on my sleeve. I have a teenage son who lives with me part time. I'm pretty independent and am happy with my own company but I can't say I'm particularly looking forward to the evenings as the nights draw in. Anyway It'd be nice to chat to someone who is kind, honest, gentle, cares about the natural world and see what happens. .....great if they were musical too. Thanks for looking.
