I wasn't sure what to put under "religious" because I personally believe that Jesus Christ is much greater than just religion. I’m from Wales, a country famous for revivals, in particular that of 1905. I worked with the Turkish and Iranian churches in Smyrna, modern İzmir, but am back in Wales right now. I’m very excited about what the Lord is going to do in Smyrna: it is the only one of the Seven Churches of Revelation that is still a living, breathing city rather than just an archaeological site. Like many missionaries, I have a deep interest in languages and cultures and in communicating the Gospel across linguistic and cultural boundaries. I am retired now, but I worked for many years as a translator/teacher of foreign languages, mainly Greek and Turkish. As for sports, I love swimming and cycling.
