New to the area
My name is Louis and I live in Toronto Canada, a city of almost 3 million. I am not thrilled living there and prefer the countryside, so perhaps a move is coming. I have lived in several cities in Canada, the US and Korea. I have travelled both for work and play.:)(Japan, Korea, China, Cuba, Mexico, US, Dominican Republic, St. Maarten, BVI, France, Portugal) I have no apprehensions about moving to another country. My friends describe me as loyal, friendly, outgoing, intelligent, caring and empathetic. I have only one photo to share at the moment, taken at work a couple of years ago. My hair is slightly more silver now. I still try to maintain a semblance of physical ability by going to the gym and doing weights, chair yoga and water aerobics. I had an accident several years ago that damaged my left knee and kept me in a cast for 5 months. I have recovered about 98% of my pre-accident mobility, however as I age, arthritis is slowly kicking in. I can and do cook well and often. If you enter the kitchen when I’m cooking you may get swept off your feet to dance for a moment while sometime gets up to boiling, maybe even the food.LOL I also have a quick wit and am prone to telling jokes any time. A sign of immaturity maybe. As for the 19-40 something’s who keep writing to me, I’m looking for someone who is more mature. I believe I’m getting too many messages a day. As I age gracefully, I am more concerned about the earth and nature. I’m quite happy with what I have and pretty much have everything I need except you maybe! I have always been a conservationist, one of the first in my neighbourhood with a compost, garden etc. I expect that I’ll continue that until I die. While not as active as I once was, I still enjoy museums, travelling, learning about new cultures and religions as well as local delicacies. Some of my hobbies include fishing, reading, camping and swimming. In the summer I can be found at my family cabin on Lake Superior, but in the winter I prefer heading somewhere warm.(Mexico, Florida, Cuba) Congratulations for reading this far.
