Please note that my membership expired and I am not renewing it. I cannot read your message and respond unless you are a platinum member. Apologies and best of luck! Thanks for looking at my profile and I hope you decide to send me a message! I am looking for a partner in life, a woman I can build a relationship with that is based trust, understanding and love. Please note: I am NOT interested in investment advice for trading currency exchange, Bitcoin, gold, oil, futures, etc. Do not waste your time and mine if you are looking for this type of connection. I enjoy the small things like having a coffee in a cozy café, walking on the busy city streets, or taking a turn and having some quiet time in the park, having a nice dinner with friends, watching a good movie. Like many people on this web site, I enjoy travel. It would be great to have a partner in this, someone who will be with me so we can experience new places and cultures. In the normal, pre-pandemic life, I often go to the gym and enjoy playing soccer, tennis, badminton, volleyball. None of these are possible these days, so I keep active mostly walking and exercising at home. Please note, I am NOT aiming to get an investment advice here. I appreciate if this is something you do, and that it can potentially make you a lot of profit. However, this is not why I am here and I will not be investing in things like Bitcoin, Oil, Futures, Currency Exchange, Small Cap Stocks, Gold, etc.... I hope we can get to know each other, understand our values, objectives in life, what would make us happy, become friends ... If we keep the communication and find there is more to it, we need to meet in person to confirm we really want to be more than friends, that there is attraction and desire to be a couple, and make a decision together about marriage, where and how to live, etc. Without a face to face meeting, we cannot make decisions regarding a common future. I am very open to learning and adopting other cultures and customs. But if your expectation is to start exchanging gifts over the internet to "prove" we are serious ... I would not be doing that. I'd love to buy flowers and gifts to the woman I love, but let's focus on getting to know each other, the gifts of love will come later :) Finally, I have been lucky to have a job that I like and that allowed me and my family to have a comfortable life, travel, enjoy vacations, and support my children through university. However I am not a rich man with big houses, vacation homes and yachts. I am committed to continue to provide and support my new family, but if you are looking for a multimillionaire, I am likely not a good match for you. Hope to hear from you and do not hesitate to ask me any question you want :) Have a wonderful day!

[Background] I was born in the historic Canadian naval coastal city of Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1963. I am the youngest of four children. My father was a chemical/ civil engineer/ federal government employee for industrial pollution-control monitoring; my mother was a registered hospital nurse. Both parents now deceased. We enjoyed a comfortable, not happy, conservative professional middle-class lifestyle in Halifax. My parents divorced when I was 12-years old. I was fascinated as a child by mechanical things: continued to dominate my interests and, later, my eventual career directions. I found school very challenging but always managed keep moving forward. Later, accepted the opportunity to attend an elite private secondary school (Ridley College). I graduated with my science matriculation (Grade 13). I will summarize my credentials and work experiences: I have completed a B.Sc. in Psychology (Sensation & Perception); two community college diplomas – mechanical engineering & automated manufacturing; also earning various extra-curricular technical certificates. I returned to finish my bachelor of science degree: finding success in Psychology. I worked for contract periods as a coordinator/ Internet project developer roles for the not-for-profit social: supporting those living with disabilities. There, I had experience creating websites; doing public speaking; and other executive duties as attending managerial meetings & committees. Lacking opportunity for advancement, I made a radical change towards construction industry eventually becoming heavy equipment operator and going out to Alberta in 2011. I am now financially secure but empty of heart, mind, and spirit in my late 50s. I am seeking an Asian partner/ eventual bride; where, I will split residency with Canada. I will support my dearest needs in ALL matters with many [academic] skills/ work-experiences from past. My priority is my dearest, but I MAY seek part-time/ causal work oriented toward English language and Technical Writing in Asian country and/or further her interests with Canada or other English-speaking markets. I hold no property or land in Canada and free to live with her abroad the majority (=or 50%) of the time. I am considered semi-retired and work only part-time, by choice, (summer/ fall) to supplement my living costs. I am financially secured with freedom to travel abroad to find dearest Asian woman. There many possibilities, still, both here or living away from my native Canada. I look forward to writing you to learn more about such a future. [Religion] I was baptised into the United Church of Canada -- Protestant Christian. I am not a religious person, though. I do welcome Buddhism and have had some background. Back in the early 1980s, I took a world religions elective in my senior year at private [secondary] school in Ontario; where, I learned about the major world religions including Buddhism. The course was a very informative comparison but, nevertheless, a just overview limited as year secondary (high) school credit program. In early 1990, I had the opportunity to participate in non-religious rendition of Buddhist mediation through the Shamballa Institute out east in Halifax. The name of the program was named ‘The Path of the Sacred Warrior’, and it was amazing experience. The purpose of the meditation was to reach deep into the pre-conscious mind and help release cathexes: a destructive phenomena robbing mental energies in futile unconscious mental processes. I would very much embrace Buddhism and with to participate in various activities mediation and other related activities.
