In 1977, I suffered a stroke, as the result of a brain aneurysm bleed. It left me in a wheeelchair, not paralyzed, just with a loss of balance. I have the leg rests on my whelchair removed and use my legs as a source of locomotion. I also have cerebellar speech, a low, raspy voice and double vision, which prevents me from driving. Other than those minor inconveniences, I'm fine. lol! It was the end of my sophomore yr. in college when it happened. So, most o f my education occurred when I was in a wheelchair. Aren't I lucky?!!! I recuperated a yr. and I went to the Univ. of PA After finishing there, I worked as a computer progrr!ammer in anti-submarine warfare. With the break-up of the Soviet Union, I was laid off. I went back to college for a degree in economics. Still no job-went back to college for a minor in Human Resources Management. Now, retired on Social Security. I am an extremely positive person. If you're not, don't waste our time, lol. I always have a smile on my face. The wo!man I'm looking for can be best described by an example: A man and woman walk into a crowded room from opposite sides. Their eyes meet. It's like they are the only people in the room. I won't settle for less. Remember, SMILE!!!
