This is who I am!
Fly me to the moon (or Europe, Asia, South and.or Central America) and let me play amongst the stars.... I am of northern European background and have lived in Australia for most of my life. I am a former academic and author, was enjoying retirement but over the past four years have been back into the workforce on a part-time basis. I am an excellent communicator; I care about the underdog and I am told my most prominent feature is my heart (no, it is not enlarged or protruding); I have a sharp wit and I would say I am of reasonable intelligence, been into fitness since early 20s, follow world events for hours on a daily basis and love getting on a airplane to my next adventure. One adventure occupied a ten year period as I fulfilled a dream I had after visiting Buenos Aires as a 27 year old and that was to return there to live. I proceeded to do that from 2008-2018. It was probably the best ten years of my life and I now consider it my second home with very close friends there. I have also been fortunate to have lived for various periods of time in Mexico, Thailand, China and Sweden while also traipsing around other parts of Europe, Asia, Central Asia, South Caucasus and South America. My problem is I was badly infected with the travel bug at age 11 and, as of yet, there is no cure for this lifelong ailment. If I may add one comment, Don't let me age fool you; I am atypical of my age and far more like a gentleman 15-20 years my junior. Finally, if you are seriously looking for your forever partner/soulmate, you would fill out the profile. I have spent most of my professional life working, and have finally slowed down enough to start smelling the roses, and if there were someone else there with the roses as well, this would be wonderful.
