I go there to sit, walk, and let my mind be at ease and recover from fatigue. I am always grateful to nature for making me feel better and helping me carry on with a fighting spirit. I don't like chaos, nor do I like being cramped or crowded. But I tell myself, 'I must,' because I have many respons responsibilities. I have to save every single baht and satang to pay off my current debts. I hope that one day, I will be free from these burdens and can live a good life surrounded by the nature I love. I also want to save up to finish building my house. I've managed to build a house that is just enough to live in within the garden, surrounded by the sounds of birds and nature. The air is pure because my house is outside the city. I grow some fruits and vegetables for us to eat, such as bananas, papayas, and coconuts. There is one more thing: my mother makes and sells Thai desserts, and I help her make them to sell at the market—they are delicious! I am not rich; I only have a small piece of land for gardening. I occasionally work as a hired laborer. I need friends to talk to and to support me sometimes because my youngest son is preparing to enter university. I have to fight and be patient with my work to ensure my son gets an education for our future.
